A life long District resident, Sandy Allen has worked diligently on behalf of the
people of Ward Eight for many years. She has fought hard to improve the quality of life
for senior citizens and young people alike. As a dedicated Councilmember for the past
three years, Sandy has developed a balance between grassroots activism and lawmaking that
has proven successful in working on many critical issues facing Ward Eight.
