A PROPOSED RESOLUTION IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

To confirm the reappointment of Ms. Jennifer M. Long to the Rental Housing Commission.

RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this resolution may be cited as the "Rental Housing Commission Jennifer M. Long Confirmation Resolution of 2001".

Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:

as a member of the Rental Housing Commission, established by section 201 of the Rental Housing Act of 1985, effective July 17, 1985 (D.C. Law 6-10; D.C. Code §45-2511), for a term to end July 18, 2003.

Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, each to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.

Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

Administrative Law Judge, District of Columbia Rental Housing Commission, July 1997 - Present

Administer Rental Housing Act, conduct appellate hearings, issue decisions and orders, perform legal research, draft regulations, supervise law clerks and staff, respond to public and agency inquiries, prepare reports, calculate and issue consumer price index for metropolitan area, and periodically serve as administrative head of Commission.
