Most everyone is getting the hang of formatting these ads. Yeay! Now for your advanced course in ad writing. Titles. Big splashy titles that scream, "Buy Me!" Place the title on a separate line and separate it with an empty space before the ad text. Why? Ask the ASCII gods.

Also, please remember, no all caps. WRITING LIKE THIS IS RUDE in interspace. I'll drop the offending text into lower case so fast that your third grade teacher will have a heart attack.

Ok, here goes. I've probably forgotten something, so I'll nag you about it next week. Happy shopping.

I would like to let subscribers know about the Washington Jewish Healing Network, of which I am one of the Coordinators. In particular, I would like to invite people to join one of the three programs that are coming up in October:

1. A six-week group for Jewish women and men living with serious illness, beginning Monday, October 21st, to explore Jewish theological, spiritual, psychological and personal issues concerning illness and healing, drawing from both Jewish tradition and their own life experiences. Contribution requested. To be held in NW D.C. Led by psychologist & rabbi.

2. A six-week course in Sources of Jewish Spiritual Renewal -- Selected Biblical, Hasidic and Mystical Texts. $40 tuition. Led by rabbi. Held in NW D.C. Also starting October 21st.

3. A community-wide healing service, October 1st, to be held in Northern Virginia (this bi-monthly event rotates around the metropolitan area).
