Events and Ads

Dear Neighbors:

I'm changing the format today to split the events and ads from the rantings. The rantings will appear later today. Meanwhile...

Andrea Sanford (scdi@his.com) informed me about a new Bell Atlantic program called "community threads," where Ma Bell sets aside 1% of your local phone bill for funding the Whitman-walker clinic. This program runs through Dec. 96. There is no additional charge to you as a customer, but you do need to inform Bell that you would like to participate. To register, just call 1-800-334-2355. I took Andrea's advice and it took but a minute of my time.

Cheers,

Jeffrey Itell

Anyone have a sandbox they wanna sell? Ideally, I'm looking for the type that has a cover, such as the "turtle" model. It's not for me, it's for my kid. I have a wagon. By the way, I also have a Graco single stroller, nice shape, Deluxe model, and wouldn't mind selling/swapping it.
