Residents of Mayoral Candidate’s Ward Release Councilmember’s Record

The ad hoc committee, residents of Ward Seven have released a documented record of the performance of Kevin P. Chavous, the Ward Seven councilmember, 1992–present. His service according to the facts used articles from city news sources, council records, and a report card survey of residents of ward residents. Issues addressed included education, public works and the environment, housing, and economic development.

The results of the survey showed an overwhelming number of respondents giving Chavous a below the scale of one. The respondents were asked to give a number between 1 and 10. The below one responses were completely unexpected.

Letters, pictorials and quotes from advisory neighborhood commissioners (ANC), civic and community leaders were also used.
