I feel that we need to restructure labor laws in the United States of America, All Americans should have a maintenance 401k plan starting 30 days after starting new employment. Employers should match 2% to 5% of employee contributions. The 401k plan should be portable from job to job. All employers should start contributing into the plan 30 days after the employee starts employment,

Americans should be able to borrow up to 40% of their vested amount without any penalties since emergencies arise and tile employee should be able to borrow as needed.

All employers should provide health care benefits to their employees, If an employee loses his job for any reason, we should have a back up system for health care. Too often people who lose their jobs also lose their health care benefits. We must seek a cost effective system for unemployed families, For instance, employees pay unemployment insurance We need to develop some form of health care insurance into which employers contribute. This would also cut back on the cost of Medicaid.

Every American that works over 8 hours a day should get time and a half for that day, not after they have reached 40 hours. Any American working on a weekend should get time and a half, too. It is fair to the employees for employers, who are making more money to be opened on the weekend, to fairly compensate them. The majority of the working class do not have union representation, so we need to pass legislation in Congress so all working Americans can have someone to back them and their family time.

Men and women should he paid equally in the workplace if both are qualified for the same position. Women should be given paid maternity leave through unemployment insurance for up to three months.

Restructuring school systems in the United States is a very important issue. In other countries children are taking a foreign language by the third grade and by the fifth grade they are starting algebra. By ninth grade, they know a foreign language, algebra, geometry and starting calculus. This curriculum should be implemented throughout the United States at the federal level so that we are able to compete with other countries in primary and secondary education. We hear and read from our local media that children are not meeting basic skills, if we do not do this, our children will suffer as will our country because the children are our future, In about 12 years time, we will see results that you would never have imagined.
