LINDA MOODY, the current Ward 8 Representative to the D.C. Board of Education, a member of the New Image Community Baptist Church, Board member of ValuesFirst, President of the Greater Southeast Community Hospital Auxiliary, wife of Adolph, mother of Mesha and Duane, mother-in-law to Michael, grandmother to Michael, Jr. and Michaela, and current foster mom to David, Kim and Delante, is a candidate for the At-Large City Council seat.

LINDA is the former Chairperson of the Greater SE Community Hospital's Foundation Board of Trustees; the Homeless Task Force of 1994; Simon ES, Ballou SHS and DCPTA Presidents; Chairperson of the D.C. Statewide Health Coordinating Council; ANC Commissioner of 8A; Chairperson of the Ward 8 Correctional Facilities Fact Finding Task Force; and Constituent Services Director for an At-large Councilmember and a Mayor.
