COUNCIL AT-LARGE
September 15th Democratic
Primary
Real Reform. Real Results.
Dear Friend:
As citizens of our Nations Capital, we share the vision of a wondrous future for
the city we love. I am a fighter who is passionate about the issues
confronting our city. And I want a City Council that does things the right way. Real
Reform. You want elected leaders with the trust, talent, and tenacity to
turn things around. Real Results.
I know how to get RESULTS. How to:
- Find solutions. Made community policing
more effective by working with 2nd Police District.
- Build coalitions. Co-Chair, Initiative 51,
citywide referendum to open up the real property assessment appeals.
- Fix problems. Helped structure fairer taxes
by authoring Tax Revision Commission legislation. Worked for regulatory reform.
- Work the system. Have served for 23 years
as a community activist, ANC Chair, and City Council staffer.
- Strategize to win. Helped preserve and
improve schools and playgrounds: Hearst School, Ellington Field, hardy School, DC Rec
Playgrounds, Guy Mason Field.
I share your vision for a new DC. And I need your
support. Won't you join me today?
