If your candidate doesn't win the September 15 primary, you should consider voting for a Green Party candidate in the November 3 general election. Here's why:

Our work to save the environment and for social justice... Universal health care, a living wage and democracy in the workplace, affordable housing and quality education, DC statehood and representation in Congress

We take NO corporate money, unlike the two major parties. We serve the people. We don't serve the Board of Trade, the Chamber of Commerce, the Federal City Council, suburban business interests, powerful developers, or any other wealthy corporate lobby.

Our work for sustainable development... We support neighborhood- friendly small business and economic development that keeps local money in the community. oppose taxpayer handouts to big business — like the proposed convention center. We oppose developers who sit on vacant property and allow boarded up buildings to draw crime and garbage, while they build more suburban sprawl.

New, independent leadership... Sold-out Democrats and a Republican Congress have given us years of ineptitude, cronyism, corruption, and lack of accountability. Let 's support alternative parties and independents!
