- Supports collective bargaining and opposes cuts in workers and
unemployment compensation.
- Supports expanded and affordable public transportation.

- Fired 164 workers without notice, accepted a $20,000 bonus, and gave
his staff $17,250 in bonuses.
- Proposed raising bus fares and eliminating 12 routes in the
metropolitan area.

- Supports increased funding for UDC and fought drastic budget cuts
proposed by Williams.

- Proposed dismantling UDC and turning it into a 2-year community
college.

HEALTH CARE |
- Fought to restore funding for DC General Hospital and is committed to
improving health services across the city.

- Tried to eliminate funding to DC General Hospital, which would have
forced the hospital to close its doors.

SENIORS |
- Fought for continued funding of the DC Office of Aging, which serves
over 37,000 seniors each year.
