WHO IS THIS DYNAMIC YOUNG
LEADER?

He is a 30 year old, Masters Level Psychologist receiving his graduate degree
from the University of the District of Columbia, and who plans to get a Doctorate in
Psychology. He is currently employed by The National Conference for Community and Justice
as Coordinator of Education and Training; is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a
member of the Jabbock Christ Centered Ministry.
- While at UDC, was a member of the Young Democrats,
- President/Founding Member, UDCs Student Task Force on Non-Violence,
- Founder of Potomac Gardens Youth Work Program,
- Conducted After School Program with boys at Gage-Eckington Elementary School,
- Planner and Co-Convener for the Mayors Day of Dialogue in 1997 and
1998,
- Facilitator in Ward 8 for the Mayors Office of Diversity.

With his background, training, experience, and interest in people, Mr. Boston is well
prepared to lead the citizens of Ward 5 into the year 2000 by:
- developing comprehensive After-School Care for Children,
- refocusing on the needs of Senior Citizens i.e., building maintenance, health care and
social services,
- maintaining close neighborhood contact to provide immediate response to potholes,
abandoned houses, street cleaning, etc.
- addressing economic development, i.e., creation of jobs, support the development of
small businesses,
- supporting a continuance of rent control.
