“DC is our home. We’re going to make it
the best it can be.”
- Diane Williams

Turned the tide in the pothole battle,
resurfacing more than 2,000 blocks of city streets.
Increased teacher salaries by more than 20
percent and increased funding for schools by 60 percent.
Helped 40,000 school children receive
immunization.
Added 24,000 DC residents to the health

“Four years ago, we
started to rebuild this city - and you can see the changes all
around us. Things are getting better all over the city, in every
Ward and neighborhood. Working together, we can keep improving our
neighborhoods one block at a time.”
- Mayor
Anthony Williams
|
With seven brothers and sisters, and a
daughter of his own, Anthony Williams is dedicated to making DC the
best city in the country for families of all economic backgrounds to
live, work and raise their children.
Mayor Williams knows that healthy children and families are the
building blocks of a strong community. More needs to be done to help
DC families, improve DC schools and make sure that no one is left
behind.
