Making DC Government Work for DC Families
Dwight Singleton will stand shoulder to shoulder with the citizens of DC to fight for the issues that effect our everyday lives. As your councilman, Singleton will work to improve education and public safety, foster economic development, and freeze sky-high property taxes. A strong, outspoken advocate for the people, Dwight will take City Hall back from the powerful special interests.

A Plan to Rejuvenate Our City
As a District II School Board Representative, and active member of his Church, and a community leader, Dwight Singleton has what it takes to bring about positive change for our families. Dwight's plan will put power back in the hands of DC taxpayers, not the special interests.

  • Increase funding for DC schools
  • Freeze property taxes for homeowners of 10 years or more
  • Provide health care, affordable housing, transportation, and estate planning for DC Seniors
  • Create year round employment opportunities for youth
  • Establish Tax-Free zones on H Street, MLK JR., and Georgia Avenues to spur economic development
  • Create Police at Home Housing Loan Program to encourage police to live in high crime areas
