Hector Rodriguez has been a tireless champion for the citizens of Ward 1 for the past 25 years. He has represented the interests of Ward 1 residents and has advanced their concerns by serving in the Administrations of 3 of the last 4 elected Mayors at various levels of government. He is responsible for the establishment of the Office of Latino Affairs. If elected, Mr. Rodriguez would be the first Latino in history to be elected to the City Council in DC.

  • Bilingual teachers/Cops/EMS
  • Affordable housing for all
  • Fully funded Summer Youth Jobs Program
  • $40 million plus in new revenues
