Back to Jim Graham’s Election 2002 main page
Jim Graham Dear _____, It has been a pleasure working with you during my past four years as DC Councilmember for our Ward. Serving my constituents directly - and addressing their concerns - has been the most rewarding part of my term in office. My staff and I take pride in bringing a personal touch back to DC government. I am glad that we have been able to communicate about the issues that matter to you. As you may know, I am seeking re-election for another term as your Ward One Councilmember. I am asking for your involvement as we move closer to the September l0th Democratic Primary. I have a number of opponents, and turnout in the election could be very light. In order to win, I need to make sure that every one of my supporters becomes active in this campaign. First and foremost, I ask that you mark your calendars right now for the Democratic Primary on Tuesday, September 10th. There is simply no excuse for staying home on election day. I also need you to remind your neighbors, friends and family to vote for me in the Democratic Primary. Finally, I ask that you fill out the volunteer application on the back side of this letter (we're trying to conserve money and paper!) and fax, mail or e-mail it back to my office. I need your help to get my message out to all the voters in our Ward in these next few weeks. We offer a range of volunteer activities that are critical to our success. I hope you can spare some time to ensure that we can continue to improve the quality of life in Ward One. I can especially use your help on election day! As always, please feel free to contact us anytime at campaign headquarters at 986-1111 or via e-mail at Go.Jim444@aol.com. You can also reach me at my personal e-mail: GrahamWone@aol.com. I welcome your comments and concerns abut forward to hearing from you soon - and working with you in the years ahead! Sincerely, Unity and Progress - Unidad y ProgresoPaid for by the Committee to Re-elect Jim Graham, Mrs. Janie Boyd, Treasurer |
