- Temporary surcharge for gas, that prompted a 25% flat rate increase
- Inspired Metropolitan Police Dept. to form a Taxi Cab Task Force.
HELPING WARD B RESIDENTS
- Working to get more taxi service in Ward 8.
- Promoting free taxicab training for Ward 8 residents. (561-VOTE)
- Sponsor free self-defense classes for women.
- Sponsored job, GED and drug treatment rally/fair.
- Member of coalition that is working with GSECH to develop a free health care policy.
- On going relationship with MPD, to improve public safety and officers' performance.
- Link to US Attorney Office to get equal protection in Ward 8.
- Support vocational trade to be taught in public schools
- Encouraging self-sufficiency and self-motivation.
