Adrian Fenty, a life-long resident of the District of Columbia, is committed to bringing government resources back to the communities, neighborhoods and families of Ward 4.
  • Do You feel ignored by your local leadership?
Adrian Fenty will work to empower all Ward 4 residents and make their voices heard.
  • Do you feel the government has failed to focus on our community issues?
As an ANC Commissioner and Civic Association President, Adrian Fenty has spoken out while others have watched the government allocate billions of dollars for downtown development, while paying only lip service or ignoring the everyday needs of Ward 4 residents. As former counsel to the Committee on Education, Libraries and Recreation, Adrian Fenty knows the legislative and oversight powers of the City Council and will work to ensure the government works in the interest of its citizenry.
  • Do You feel that the needs of Ward 4's children and youth have been neglected?
Adrian Fenty will work with the Mayor, every appropriate branch of local government and concerned citizens to both improve academic and career potential and bring fiscal and staffing stability to foster care, child care, after-school activities and recreation.

His platform would specifically focus on:

  • Comprehensive Tax and Revenue Planning
  • Resources & Plans for Community and Economic Development
  • Public Education Reform
  • Stringent oversight of Public Works and Public Safety
  • Appropriate Housing and Healthcare for Ward 4 residents

He has the energy, commitment and determination to bring new voters to the polls in September and to unite our diverse population inclusive of every age for the future of Ward 4.
