- to institute public magnet schools
- to fully fund needs of special education students
- Fight to maintain Fully Elected, 11-Member School Board.
- Fight for Expanded Funding for University of the District
of Columbia.
- Fight for Living-Wage Jobs for D.C.
- Fight for Real Economic Development for Ward 4 Businesses:
- to repeal MCI Arena tax which benefits only downtown
corporations
- to repeal Convention Center Tax
- Fight to Enforce District's Anti-discrimination Law:
- Getting a taxicab should not depend on how you look or
where you live
- Fight for Decent, Affordable Housing for People of all
incomes.
- Be a FULL-TIME Council Member.
RENÉE WILL NOT:
- Sell-out to Big Money and Real Estate Interests that harm
our community.
- Cave-in to downtown power brokers.
