Paul J. Cohn
Senior Executive Officer, CRC

Before entering the restaurant industry, Paul Cohn was an artists' manager and promoter, who introduced many of the nation's top entertainers to the Washington, DC market, as well as bringing local talent to world class status. He worked with writer/producer Van McCoy who started the disco movement with his hit "The Hustle." Cohn's most well known client was the top singing duo Peaches & Herb whose first album "Too Hot" sold over 5,000,000 units worldwide in 1978.

In 1980, Cohn owned and operated J. Paul's on M Street in Georgetown. J. Paul's quickly became the quintessential Washington Dining saloon, catching the eye of Bechara Nammour, a principal in a London based international restaurant and hotel company.

In 1982, Nammour invited Cohn to become part of his new restaurant management company, therefore acquiring J. Paul's in what would become the first of many restaurants they would create together.

Cohn is very involved civically as well--holding positions as President of the Board of Directors and a, member of the Executive Committee for the Business & Professional Association of Georgetown; member of the Board of Directors for the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington; member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Operations Committee for the Washington Convention Center Authority; and a member of the Board of Directors for Southeastern University.
