RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this resolution may be cited as the "Board of Education of the District of Columbia Robin B. Martin Confirmation Resolution of 2003". Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of: Mr. Robin B. Martin as a member of the Board of Education of the District of Columbia, established by section 2 of the School Governance Companion Amendment Act of 2000, effective July 18, 2000 (D.C. Law 13-149; D.C. Official Code §1-204.95), replacing Charles R. Lawrence, whose term ended December 14, 2002, for a term to end December 14, 2006. Sec. 3. The Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, each to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor. Sec. 4.
